TourneyTown Game Rules & Table Settings
A tourney
round will consist of one full (pogo) game or a specified time limit. The
number of rounds for each tourney will vary so check the tourney page for
further details on each tournament. TDs you may add these rules to your Tourney
Pages to help the players understand your rules. Your Host is the one in
charge, if she/he has special rules you will find them on the tourney page, and
they will explain them to you in the tourney room
Bingo Luau - Dice City Rollers - Golf Solitaire – Lottso - Pogo Bowl - Poppa
Zoppa:
These
games will be set as 4 or more rounds in True or Regular Swiss, Single or Double
Elimination format. They may be set as 1x1 player, 2x2 partners, or 3x3 team
games. Players will post their scores as shown on the game’s leader board
(dice/lottso/pogo bowl/poppa zoppa) or player score card (bingo luau/golf
solitaire). TD will do screen shots of the leader board & player postings each
round for reference if needed. A typical 4 Round True Swiss tourney in these
games will take approximately 1 hour. Allow more time for additional rounds or
optional formats.
If a
Partners tourney and a sub is needed - Dice Sub Score is 750 - Lottso sub score
is 2500 - Bowling Sub Score is 150

Canasta - Dice Derby 6 Laps & 9 Laps– Dominos – High Stakes Pool - Jungle Gin –
Qwerty – Shuffle Bump:
These are
“Table” games. They will usually be set as 3 rounds True Swiss. However may
also be set as Regular Swiss, Single or Dbl Elimination format. They will
always be 1x1 player games. Players will play their matches at individual
tables then report back to the TD in the lobby with winner/non-winner names. A
typical 3 Round True Swiss Tourney in these games will last 1 hour or more with
the exception of the Dice Derby games as they are quick games. A 6 Lap tour can
be done in approx 30 minutes and a 9 Lap tour can be done in approx 45 minutes
or sooner depending on how many players are in the tournament. Allow more time
for optional formats.

games are “10 Minute Timed Token” games. They will usually be set as 3 rounds
True Swiss. However may also be set as Regular Swiss or Single Elimination
format. They will always be 1x1 player games. Players will play at their
choice of skill level for 10 MINUTES and will use the last 5 digits of
their tokens as their score and post them at the start and end of each round
when the TD asks for them. All players must post promptly when the TD asks for
tokens. If a player is in a spin they must post as “spin” so TD knows they are
not just playing on. Players taking longer than 45 seconds to post tokens may
have their score for that round disqualified. A typical 3 Round True Swiss
tourney in these games should take approx 1 hour. Allow additional time for
optional formats.
